Bloodstock will return in 2019 for another bout of metal and mayhem.
The UK’s biggest independent metal festival will be attended by 15,000 people next summer, with Sabaton set to top the bill on the Friday night, marking their only UK show of the year, and Scorpions set to draw things to a close on Sunday. They intend to rock you like a hurricane, naturally.
The event is spread across three stages - Ronnie James Dio (main stage), Sophie Lancaster and Hobgoblin New Blood - while last year's headliners were Judas Priest, Nightwish and Gojira.
What? A four day festival that hosts some of the heaviest acts the rock and metal scene has to offer.
Where? Catton Park at Walton on Trent in Derbyshire.
When? August 8-11.
Who? The latest acts to join the ever growing line up are Anthrax, Dimmu Borgir, Thy Art Is Murder and Tesseract. They will appear alongside headliners Sabaton and Scorpions, as well as Children Of Bodom, Cradle Of Filth, Code Orange, Soilwork, Skeletonwitch, Queensrÿche, Soilwork, Dee Snider, Eluveitie, Rotting Christ, Hypocrisy, Grand Magus, Metal Church, Evil Scarecrow, Death Angel and Ross The Boss.
Tickets? Early bird weekend tickets are available until December 15, priced from £132 plus fees.
