Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos was kicked out of previous band Quinn because we was too motivated.
Louise Quinn, lead singer of Quinn, now happily takes the blame for helping to unleash Franz Ferdinand on the world.
Kapranos shared vocal duties in the band with Louise, but she told the now famous singer that there was no future for him in the band.
Quinn revealed: "It's my fault Franz Ferdinand are so huge. Alex played with us for a couple of years."
"He was so desperate to play with us so we got him in the band and he played on 'In Between Worlds', our first album. But he was more motivated than we were." She simply added, "He needed his own band."
