Calexico, Iron & Wine, Amadou & Mariam, Blind Boys of Alabama To Headline Cambridge Folk Festival

Cambridge Folk Festival returns in 2019 to host the best in folk, country and blues.
Having been held annually since 1965, it's one of the longest running folk festivals in the world and is visited by around 14 thousand people each year. The collective of Calexico and Iron & Wine will top Friday's bill, Lucinda Williams will headline the Saturday, and Sunday night will be topped by Amadou & Mariam and the Blind Boys of Alabama.
The festival is spread across numerous stages- including Stage 1 and 2, the Den, the Hub and the Club Tent- while last year's headliners were First Aid Kit, Patti Smith, John Prine, and Janis Ian.
What? A four-day festival that hosts some of the best folk, country, blues and roots artists from around the world.
Where? Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge.
When? August 1-4.
Who? New additions to the bill include Friday headliners Calexico and Iron & Wine, and Sunday headliners Amadou & Mariam and the Blind Boys of Alabama, as well as Graham Nash, the Unthanks, Gruff Rhys, Robert Finley, Kathryn Tickell and the Darkening, the Rails, McGoldrick, McCusker and Doyle, Siobhan Miller, Holy Moly and the Crackers, the Tweed Project, and Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra.
They join the previously announced Saturday headliner Lucinda Williams, Ralph McTell, José González, Nick Mulvey, Richard Thompson, Tuung, Fisherman's Friends, Karine Polwart, Lisa O'Neill, Lil' Jimmy Reed and the A Team, Talisk, Sam Sweeney, Jarrod Dickenson, Rura, and Nancy Kerr, James Fagan & Friends. More acts are to be confirmed in due course.
