Clean Bandit Join Forces With Charli XCX And Bhad Babie For New Single Playboy Style

Wednesday, 28 November 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Clean Bandit have dropped a new single featuring Charli XCX and Bhad Babie.

Playboy Style appears on their new album, 'What Is Love?'. The follow up to their 2014 debut LP, 'New Eyes', is due out on November 30 and also features appearances by Zara Larsson, Demi Lovato, Sean Paul, Anne-Marie, Ellie Goulding, Kyle, Big Boi, Tove Styrke, Stefflon Don, Craig David, Kirsten Joy, Rita Ora, Julia Michaels, Alma, Yasmin Green, DaVido, Love Ssega, Louisa Johnson, Marina and the Diamonds, and Luis Fonsi.

The track switches out Clean Bandit's usual orchestral dance-pop style for a bass-heavy detour into dancehall, with Charli XCX leading proceedings before Bhad Babie drops off a breakneck verse at the halfway mark.

The group were recently announced for the Soundscape Weekender at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry next summer. David Guetta will headline the Sunday night, with Anne Marie, Mabel and Years and Years also set to perform.

The full Sunday line up is set to be revealed soon with two more artists to announce over the next few days. Further acts, including Saturday's headliner, are to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
