The pop icon, who released 'Golden' in April, will fill the Sunday afternoon ‘legends’ slot on the Pyramid Stage. Both Minogue and the festival's co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed the news via Twitter.
The only other act to be announced for Glastonbury so far is Stormzy. The grime star will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night.
The festival will return to Worthy Farm between June 26 and 30, following a fallow year in 2018.
I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing the ‘Legend slot’ on Sunday 30th June at @GlastoFest 2019. It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now. I can’t wait to see you all there to share this special show. pic.twitter.com/wHAiBs54Cx
We are delighted to announce that Kylie is finally bringing her show to Glastonbury. She'll play the legendary Sunday afternoon slot at next year's Festival. And we cannot wait. pic.twitter.com/ys2yLartH3
