Line Up And Location Announced For Gilles Peterson's Inaugural We Out Here Festival

The full line up for Gilles Peterson's inaugural We Out Here festival has been unveiled.
The event will run over four days in August on the Abbots Ripton site in Cambridgeshire that formerly hosted Secret Garden Party. It'll feature a mix of live jazz performances as well as DJ sets insprired by the genre.
The festival takes its name from Peterson's own Brownswood Recording's 2018 compilation featuring some of the artists leading the UK's jazz scene. Speaking about the festival, he said:
"What’s amazing about the scene here is that there's so much legacy as well so much future. It really is about bringing all that together on one amazing site."
What? Four days of jazz artists alongside a DJ line-up, with camping options ranging from glamping to family-friendly pitches.
Where? Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire.
When? August 15-18.
Who? Live performances will come from Gary Bartz, Matthew Herbert, Tirzah Idris Ackamoor and the Pyramids, the Comet Is Coming, Sons of Kemet, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Nubya Garcia, Kojey Radical, Hailu Mergia, A Certain Ratio, MXMJoY, Moses Boyd Exodus and Steam Down Orchestra, with DJ sets from Theo Parrish, Francois K, Gilles Peterson, Colin Curtis, Mr Scruff, Objekt, Call Super, Mike Dunn, Joesey Rebelle and more.
