Rex Orange County is back with a new single, New House.
The piano-driven pop ballad serves as Alex O'Connor's first new song since the release of his breakthrough sophomore album, 'Apricot Princess', in 2017. The British 20-year old took to social media to reveal the track and post a note to fans.
"I want to say thank you to everyone that is here for me now and to those who are still here from before," he wrote. "Life is weird and it seems like everyone has a difficult time in one way or another."
"With that being said, I must confirm that I still love doing this and that I'm beyond grateful for all the support I've been shown. Life is good."
Last year, the British 20-year old teamed up with Randy Newman for a rework of You've Got A Friend In Me for Spotify's Rise series. He was also heavily involved on Tyler, the Creator's 2017 album, 'Flower Boy'.
