White Denim have shared another track from their upcoming album, 'Side Effects'.
With the follow up to last year's 'Performance' due on March 29, the psychedelic Reversed Mirror follows previously shared cuts Shanalala and the epic six-minute NY Mone, both of which arrived at the start of the year along with details of the record.
Reversed Mirror was built on Mirrored In Reverse, a track from the Texas band's 2009 LP 'Fits'. Vocalist and guitarist James Petralli explained:
"We are interested in reframing ideas and presenting them in new ways. Mirrored in Reverse from 'Fits' was a live staple for us for many years. We would improvise on the intro for a few minutes each night. Lots of ideas came out of those improvisations. Steve and I mashed a bunch of them together for this version."
The band will support the album's release with a West Coast tour in April, following hometown appearances at SXSW in Austin, Texas next month.
