Lightning Seeds And Sophie Ellis-Bextor Added To Watchet Festival Line Up

Watchet Festival have unveiled further acts.
The biggest music festival in West Somerset returns for its 12th year this August, with the Lightning Seeds and Sophie Ellis Bextor added to the bill.
The iconic Ian Broudie-fronted Liverpool band and the Murder On The Dance Floor singer join a line up that already includes headliners Embrace and Reverend and the Makers, as well as sets from the likes of Peter Hook and the Light, Alabama 3, Hugh Cornwell, Hot Chocolate and more.
What? A not-for-profit, family run festival organised by Queen’s Award For Voluntary Service recipients Watchet LIVE Community Interest Company, hosting over 60 acts on the West Somerset Coastline.
Where? The Down, Watchet, West Somerset.
When? August 23 - 25.
Who? The Lightning Seeds will headline the Friday night, Embrace take over the Main stage on Saturday, and Reverend and the Makers are set to close the Sunday.
Elsewhere on the bill Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Peter Hook and the Light, Alabama 3, Hugh Cornwell, Hot Chocolate, Tankus The Henge, Dr Meaker, 3 Daft Monkeys are all set to perform, as well as the house band the Wurzels. More acts are yet to be announced, and you can check out the full line up here.
Tickets? Weekend tickets including camping are on sale now, priced from £87.50 plus fees, while no camping will cost £75.00. Single day tickets are available for £30.00 plus fees. Children under 12 can attend for free.
