Cécile McLorin Salvant And Jan Garbarek Among First Names Announced For EFG London Jazz Festival

Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek and Grammy-winning singer Cécile McLorin Salvant are among the first names unveiled for this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival.
The series runs from November 15 to 24 across stages at the Southbank and Barbican centres and at every major jazz venue in the capital.
Launching with a Jazz Voice opening-night gala concert at the Barbican, other headlining acts announced include Dave Holland, Chris Potter and Zakir Hussain's supergroup, CrossCurrents, who play Cadogan Hall on November 17, and pianist Sullivan Fortner will join Salvant at the Barbican on November 16. There's also a Brazilian jazz double bill of pianist and singer Eliane Elias and guitarist Vinicius Cantuaria at the Barbican on November 22.
