John Grant Joins Line Up For BBC Radio 6 Music Festival In Liverpool

John Grant has joined the line for the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival.

He will co-headline Mountford Hall in Liverpool with Ex:Re on March 29. For its sixth outing the event will also host stages at the Eventim Olympia, Invisible Wind Factory, Camp and Furnace, and the Cavern Club between March 29 and 31. 

During the day, the festival will feature talks, events and performances by the Coral, Julia Jacklin, BC Camplight, Julian Cope, Pigs x7, Skinny Pelembe, Clinic, Gaika, the Comet Is Coming, Roger McGough, Jess Green and Amina Atiq.

The evening will see headline sets from the Good the Bad and the Queen, Anna Calvi and Jon Hopkins, while also playing are Hot Chip, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Bill Ryder Jones, Bodega, the Cinematic Orchestra, Chali 2na and Krafty Kuts, Fontaines DC, Gang Of Four, Idles, Jungle, Little Simz, Marika Hackman, She Drew The Gun, Slowthai, Stealing Sheep and Villagers.

There'll also be late DJ sets from 2ManyDJs, Erol Alkan, Max Cooper, Craig Charles, Nemone, Breakwave, Elliot Hutchinson (Dig Vinyl) and the Renegade Brass Band.  

Elsewhere the festival includes an independent record fair, gig poster exhibition, live screen printing, bingo, and street food. Head here to check out the full line up to date. Tickets went on sale via the BBC 6 Music website on February 28 at 10am.
