Sky Ferreira has returned with a new song, Downhill Lullaby.
The track was co-produced by the vocalist alongside Dean Hurley with Jorge Elbrecht. It marks the first material from Ferreira since her 2013 debut album, 'Night Time, My Time', and serves as the first taste of its follow up. 'Masochism' is expected to land later this year following recording sessions in Los Angeles and Copenhagen.
Announced in 2015, 'Masochism' was orginally slated for release in 2016 but has since been delayed multiple times, though Ferreira has been teasing new music since the beginning of 2018.
The new song is an eerie five-and-a-half-minute soundscape of strings, dirgy drums and gloomy, grunge style vocals. Check it out below.
