Editors have shared the second track from their forthcoming album.
‘The Blanck Mass Sessions’, which sees re-workings of tracks from the band’s 2018 album ‘Violence’ by the producer Blanck Mass, will arrive on May 3 via Play It Again Sam, after its limited physical release for Record Store Day last week.
Following on from lead single Barricades, the latest cut Hallelujah (So Low) is a space-age rock track that might not be out of place in Muse’s recent escapades. Shooting laser synths at a huge chord sequence in the chorus, the song is different, but not a world away from the more acoustic, earthly original.
'The Blanck Mass Sessions' tracklist:
1. Barricades
2. Cold
3. Hallelujah (So Low)
4. Violence
5. Darkness At The Door
6. Nothingness
7. Magazine
8. Counting Spooks
