Wilko Johnson, Lindisfarne and Steve Harley Confirmed For Margate Rhythm And Rock

Steve Harley, Wilko Johnson and Lindisfarne have been confirmed for brand new festival Margate Rhythm and Rock.
A new addition to the festival landscape in 2019, the event takes place at Margate’s Winter Gardens in September, promising a stellar line up of legendary rock and blues artists across two indoor stages.
What? A brand new festival with a down to earth atmosphere, refreshing outlook and a bid to be the friendliest fixture on the festival calendar.
Where? Winter Gardens, Margate.
When? September 6-8.
Who? Lindisfarne, Wilko Johnson, and Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel are set to headline the festival. On Friday, Lindisfarne’s performance will be preceded by The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Wild Willy Barrett’s Roaring Touring, Rodney Slater’s Parrots, Edward Tudorpole and Screaming Alley Cabaret.
Saturday will see a line up including Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band, Curved Air, Desmon Dekker’s Aces featuring Delroy Williams, Here And Now, Strey, the Members, George Shovlin and the Radars, Pearl-Handed Revolver, the Milk Men and the Sharpeez before Wilko Johnson plays.
Meanwhile, Steve Harley will be joined by the Blockheads, Man, Skinny Molly, John Otway, Big Band, Stan Webb’s Chicken Shack, Captain Accident and the Disasters, the Radi8ors, Danny Giles Band and Hardwicke Circus on Sunday.
