Big Thief Share New Single Century From Forthcoming Album 'UFOF'

Big Thief have shared the latest cut from their forthcoming album.
‘UFOF’ is due on May 3 through 4AD, and follows on from their 2018 EP 'Wide Winged Bird' and vocalist Adrienne Lenker’s solo LP ‘Abysskiss’.
The new single Century utilises diminished chords, 1970s jangling guitar tones and a broken drum beat for a feeling of tension in the verses, while Lenker’s familiar, friendly timbre repeating “we have the same power” introduces a sense tranquility in the chorus.
The band have a busy few months ahead supporting the album with tours in North America, Europe, and the UK and Ireland. The latter will include stops in Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester, London, Bristol and Cambridge. Tickets are on sale now.
