Two Door Cinema Club have released another track from their new album.
Their latest synth-fest, Once follows previously released cuts Talk, Satellite, and Dirty Air in previewing ’False Alarm’, which is scheduled to arrive on June 21. Vocalist Alex Trimble said:
"The phrase ’once in a lifetime’ came out in conversation and I started questioning what does that mean anymore? When everything is captured on a camera or viewed through a screen, and if you can watch it a million times over, is it once in a lifetime?... There’s also this idea that you are a product, everyone’s building their brand.”
The Northern Irish trio will support the follow up to 2016’s ’Gameshow’ with a UK And Ireland tour in October, including a date at the O2 Arena in London. Before that, they’ll appear in Nottingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and Dundee over the next week, playing intimate album launch shows.
Additionally, the band recently took over BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge where they laid down a version of Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy.
