Jack Antonoff has announced a new collaborative project.
Alongside Sounwave, who he worked with on St Vincent’s single Pills, and songwriter Sam Dew, who he co-wrote Taylor Swift and Zayn’s I Don’t Wanna Live Forever with, the trio will release a self-titled album through RCA later this summer under the moniker Red Hearse.
The first two cuts from the LP, a self-titled track and Honey, are both immaculately produced pop tracks, the former concentrating on some Jonas Brothers-esque falsetto vocals and minimal verses, whereas the latter adopts a more relaxed vibe with complicated electronic textures brought to the foreground.
