Vivian Girls have shared the first track from their comeback record, 'Memory'.
After a five-year absence, the New York-bred, Los Angeles-based trio — Cassie Ramone, Katy Goodman, and Ali Koehler —- announced their return earlier this week, and today teasing the album with the shoegazey indie-pop song Sick, as well as revealing its artwork and tracklist.
Recorded last autumn at Comp-NY Studio in Los Angeles and produced by Rob Barbato, the record is set to arrive on September 20 via Polyvinyl, eight years on from the release of the band's last album, 2011's 'Share The Joy'. It will be followed by a North American reunion tour.
Upon the album's release, Polyvinyl will also reissue the garage punks' first two LPs, 2008's self-titled bow and 2009's 'Everything Goes Wrong', both of which have long been out of print.
