'Show Tracks' comprises two songs Skrillex has been playing in his recent live shows, Fuji Opener featuring Alvin Risk, a perfect party-starter, followed by Beam collaboration Mumbai Power, a less intense offering. The EP marks Skrillex's first release since he dropped the video game Kingdom Hearts III theme, Face My Fears.
This year has been a busy one so far for Skrillex. He reunited with Boys Noize to release Turn Off the Lights, their first new music as supergroup Dog Blood since 2013, remixed Kelsey Lu's Blood track Due West, produced Lykke Li's Two Nights Pt. 2 with Ty Dolla $ign, and worked on Ed Sheeran's 'No.6 Collaborations Project', among others things.
