Anna Calvi, Nadine Shah And Primal Scream To Play First Official Peaky Blinders Festival

Anna Calvi, Nadine Shah and Primal Scream are among the acts confirmed to play the first official Peaky Blinders festival later this year.
The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival will be held in Birmingham, where the show is set, on September 14 and 15. The event will see 200 actors recreate scenes from the television programme live in the streets, warehouses and factories of Digbeth.
The music line up will also feature Slaves and Mike Skinner of the Streets, plus performances across five stages from Hotel Lux, Marthagunn, the Correspondents, Swingrowers, Electric Swing Circus, Heavybeat Brass Band, Jive Aces, Jim Wynn Swing Band, Baghdaddies, Miss Kiddy and the Cat, Swing Zazou, Thrill Collins, and Punch The Sky, with more acts due to be announced.
Calvi, who scored the programme's upcoming fifth series, said:
"I'm thrilled to be performing at The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival. Scoring Peaky Blinders has been a major project for me this year and I’m excited to be bringing a special one-off version of my show to the festival 🖤."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on August 9.
