Bruce Springsteen has released the official audio for one of his most well-known shows.
The Pièce De Résistance, which saw the Boss and the E Street Band perform at the Capitol Theater in New Jersey on September 19, 1978, was aired on radio stations at the time and has now been restored and mixed by Jon Altschiller and mastered by Adam Ayan. Find the full album here and listen to the live version of Meeting Across The River from that night’s performance below.
The release follows on from August’s live album 'Bridge School '86', recorded at the first Bridge School Benefit Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, in 1986.
Springsteen, meanwhile, put out his latest album of new material, ‘Western Stars’ in June, with an accompanying concert film due in October.
