Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced a new album.
‘From Out Of Nowhere’, the band’s first LP in four years, will arrive on November 1 through Columbia. The title track runs on an engaging six chord sequence and features the classic instrumentation of ELO’s 1970s and ‘80s hits, with stylised backing vocals, synths and electric guitars — almost all of which were performed by Lynne.
The new record follows up 2015’s ‘Alone In The Universe’, which was their first new material in 14 years.
