Taylor Swift Releases Beautiful Ghosts From Cats Soundtrack

Friday, 15 November 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Taylor Swift has released a song from the forthcoming Cats soundtrack.

The pop superstar worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber on Beautiful Ghosts, a dramatic retelling of the epic life of a cat over a soft piano that later swells with a full orchestra.

Swift plays Bombalurina in the new cinematic adaptation of the musical, alongside Francesca Hayward, Judi Dench, Jennifer Hudson and Jason Derulo. The film also features appearances from Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, Ian McKellen, James Corden and more. Cats will arrive in cinemas on December 20.

The singer-songwriter's last album was August's 'Lover', which she'll support with an extensive run of European and US festival dates for the summer. She'll also perform at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball this December at London's O2 Arena.

Swift recently released a statement regarding her legal issues with Scooter Braun. Read it in full below.
