Thunder have announced a UK arena tour for November 2020.
The British rock veterans will call at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena, Birmingham's Resorts World Arena, SSE Arena Wembley in London, SEC Armadillo in Glasgow and Leeds' First Direct Arena. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 22.
Ugly Kid Joe are the very special guests at all dates, with Thunder set to select a different opening band for each night of the tour.
The announcement comes with news of the their next studio album, which is scheduled for release before their November tour, although a specific date is yet to be confirmed. Thunder released 'The Greatest Hits' in September to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The band said:
"Work has begun on the next studio album, and whilst it's not done, it's shaping up splendidly. Anyone under the impression that it will be a soft one will be very wrong indeed, for verily, it is VERY ROCK! We'll finish it in the first half of next year, and release it soon after that.
"For every new studio album, there must be a tour, so we're most chuffed to announce that we will be playing five arena shows next November. This will give us plenty of time to lick all the labels and put the CDs and vinyls in the sleeves.
"It's going to be a three band bill, with special guests Ugly Kid Joe for all five shows. We're also going to have a different opening band of our choosing each night. The 5 openers will be announced early next year."
Thunder take over the O2 Academy Birmingham and Manchester Academy in late December for their annual Christmas outing.
