Slipknot Share Shawn Crahan-Directed Pollution Short Film

Slipknot have released a short film titled Pollution.
After teasing clips on their social media channels, the 20-minute video arrives as the Iowa metallers embark on the UK and European leg of their world tour behind last year's 'We Are Not Your Kind', which kicked off in Dublin last night.
The film was directed by the band's percussionist M. Shawn 'Clown' Crahan and is based around their recent video for Nero Forte that Crahan also helmed. He said:
"I set out to make a short film that makes you question your own existence, here in this reality. When you lay down in your bed, next to the one you love, do you ever ask yourself - is it possible that this person could slit my throat while I’m sleeping? Enjoy. Pollution is everywhere."
Slipknot continue their tour with a show at Manchester Arena on January 16. They'll cross the pond again this summer when they bring Knotfest to the UK for the first time, taking over the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on August 22 , with the full line up to be revealed in the coming months. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on January 16.
