Best Coast Set Release Date For New Album 'Always Tomorrow', Share New Song Everything Has Changed

Monday, 20 January 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Best Coast have confirmed the release date for their fourth album, 'Always Tomorrow'.

The California rock duo confirmed the project is on the way while revealing their new single Everything Has Changed with a post on social media. Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno said, "We present to you, Everything Has Changed. The new single off our new album 'Always Tomorrow' out Feb 21 on Concord Records."

Take a look at the record's artwork and tracklist, along with a Ryan Baxley-directed gameshow-themed video for the song, which pairs Weezer-style power chords with elements of pop. It follows the previously shared single For The First Time, which dropped last November. Cosentino said in a statement:

"After we finished the album cycle for 'California Nights', something terrifying happened to me. I felt creatively paralyzed. I couldn’t write music. There was so much bubbling inside of me, so many things happening, so much to process, but I couldn’t get any of it out. I was miserable and felt like nothing was ever going to change.

"One day, I locked myself in my closet and I forced myself to write, and out came Everything Has Changed. The song was like a vision of life I wished I was living; ultimately, that song was prophetic — describing the life I would soon be living."

The pair will accompany the follow-up to 2015’s 'California Nights' with a North America tour from late February with support from Mannequin Pussy.
