Declan McKenna has announced his second album.
The follow-up to 2017's 'What Do You Think About The Car?' is called 'Zeros' and was recorded in Nashville with production handled by Jay Joyce and mixing by Spike Stent. It will arrive on May 15 through Columbia Records.
Head below to check out the album's artwork and first single, Beautiful Faces. The alt-pop-tinged, indie-rock track with an arena sized chorus arrives with a Will Hooper-directed video. McKenna said:
“So I wanted it to be a big song... Scary big. It very much relates to now, but I wanted to reimagine social media in this future-sphere where it has become even more immersive so that we cannot see where it ends and we begin.”
The singer-songwriter will perform at Islington Assembly Hall in London on February 12 as part of War Child's Brits Week. Prior to this he's got sold-out shows lined up in Ramsgate and Guidlford.
