Alfie Boe will head to the Yorkshire coast this summer.
The British tenor will perform at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on June 27 as part of the Armed Forces Day National Event. He'll be joined by mezzo-soprano Laura Wright. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on February 21. Boe said:
“It is an amazing honour, as well as a huge thrill, for me to be back at this wonderful venue to perform on Armed Forces Day.
I’ve played this venue many times and I’ve always received such a warm welcome from the good people of Yorkshire. The fact I will be performing as part of Scarborough’s hosting of Armed Forces Day’s National Event will make it even more special. I cannot wait for June 27 – it will be an amazing evening.”
Boe released 'Back Together' in late 2019, his latest collaborative album with Michael Ball. He'll also perform at Newmarket Racecourse on August 14. Tickets for this show are on sale now.
