Paul Banks has announced a new project.
Made up of the Interpol frontman alongside longtime friends Matt Barrick (the Walkmen and Fleet Foxes) and Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman and Day of the Dead), Muzz made their debut when they covertly released the song Bad Feeling on Soundcloud earlier this month.
Now they've dropped their first official single via Matador Records, Broken Tambourine, written, arranged and performed by all three members. It's a sombre, meditative affair that begins with sparse piano keys and builds into a hushed organ-based ballad.
The trio hinted that more music is on the way, though there's no news on an album.
