Trad unfolds around the singer-songwriters low, pensive vocals and an uptempo beat. It serves as the second single from the Mercury Prize-nominated artist's upcoming album, 'Kitchen Sink', due out via Infectious Music on June 5. Introducing it online, she said:
"Wanted to share an album track with you all whilst we're on lockdown. It's called Trad and is about my hairy legs and scrambled eggs. Enjoy!"
Shah announced the details of the follow-up to 2017's 'Holiday Destination' in February, alongside lead track Ladies For Babies (Goats For Love).
She will support the release with appearances at This Is Tomorrow in Newcastle and Green Man in the Brecon Beacons this summer. She's also due to perform at London's All Points East in May.
