Following a series of teasers, the 1975 have dropped their new single.
If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know) is their trademark mix of electro and pop, with a clear ’80s influence shining through. It’s the latest cut to be shared from their new album, ’Notes on a Conditional Form’, which will arrive on May 22, having been pushed back from February 21 and then April 24.

The band’s summer show at Finsbury Park in London is currenty still set to go ahead, as is their appearance at Boardmasters, their Edinburgh Summer Sessions debut, and autumn European tour. However, their spring North American tour has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
