Dixie Chicks have shared a new song, Julianna Calm Down.
The track has arrived in place of the pop-country legends’ new Jack Antonoff-produced LP ‘Gaslighter’, their first since 2006's ‘Taking the Long Way’, which was due to land on May 1 before being pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Julianna Calm Down finds Natalie Maines dispensing acerbic advice to the women in her life over a sombre organ that breaks out into a dayglo kissoff: “So just put on put on put on your best shoes, and strut the fuck around like you’ve got nothin’ to lose.”
