Lukas Graham has dropped a new single, Love Songs.
It’s the third instalment in the Grammy nominated-artist’s ongoing series of releases, following the previously shared Scars and Lie. The track sees the Danish vocalist poke fun at your archetypal gooey love song via a hip-hop-like cadence atop an uptempo, jaunty melody.
“It's a love song turned on its head," explained Graham. "Everyone hears love songs differently and there are people out there who think certain songs are written directly to them, and we found that idea hilarious. So we wrote a song about that.”
Graham’s last LP was 2018’s sombre ‘3 (The Purple Album)’. He's expected to follow up with a new album this year, though no details have been confirmed.
