Counting Crows are a rock band from Berkeley, California.
Formed in 1991, the band currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Duritz, guitarists Dan Vickrey, David Immerglück and David Bryson, keyboard player Charlie Gillingham, drummer Jim Bogios and Millard Powers on bass. Influenced by the likes of Van Morrison, REM, Mike and the Mechanics and Bob Dylan, the band have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. With a 2004 Academy Award nomination under their belt for their song Accidentally in Love from Shrek 2, they are renowned for their energetic and passionate live shows. Their debut album ‘August and Everything After’ hit shelves in 1993, and has gone on to become certified 7x platinum in both the US and Canada. Since then, they’ve put out seven more studio albums, the latest being 2021's 'Butter Miracle: Suite One'. Counting Crows will embark on a co-headline North American tour with Santana in summer 2024, billed as the Oneness Tour.
