Bully have announced a new album.
'SUGAREGG', the follow-up to 2017's 'Losing', is due out on August 21 through Sub Pop. Alicia Bognanno recorded it at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota and Palace Sound in Toronto, Ontario.
She produced and mixed the record with John Congleton, with additional production and mixing by Graham Walsh —marking her first time allowing outsiders into the recording and mixing process. Bognanno said:
"[I wanted to be free] from the weight of feeling like I had to prove to the world I was capable of engineering a record, and wanted to be content knowing for myself what I can do without needing the approval of others to validate that.
“Naturally, I still had reservations, but John was sensitive to where I was coming from. He was very respectful that I’d never worked with a producer before.”
Head below to check out the album's artwork and tracklist, as well as the video for the its lead single, Where to Start, an abrasive yet melodic punk-rock offering.
