Elvis Costello has shared a second track from his Finnish adventure.
As with June’s spiky No Flag, Hetty O’Hara Confidential was recorded during three days’ work with Eetu Seppälä and Tim Mikkkola at Suomenlinnan Studio near Helsinki.
The percussive, angular track is described as: “The tale of a tattler who outlives her time.” A statement credits Costello with: “Mouth, Hammond Organ, Fender Jazzmaster, Upright Piano, Rhythm Ace & All Other Noises.”
Costello’s most recent album with his band the Impostors was 2018’s ‘Look Now’. A further song is expected on August 14.
