Gorillaz have dropped a new track.
PAC-MAN featuring ScHoolboy Q is the fifth instalment of their Song Machine series, which has also seen them collaborate with Fatoumata Diawara, Slowthai, Slaves, Georgia, Peter Hook, Skepta, Tony Allen, and most recently Octavian.
The song's arrival coincides with the 40th anniversary of its arcade game namesake. It was recorded in London prior to their coronavirus lockdown and produced by Prince Paul, Remi Kabaka Jr. and Gorillaz.
Damon Albarn delivers smooth, level vocals over an eclectic R&B-influenced soundscape, with the featured rapper jumping in later at the halfway mark to amp thing up with his fiery bars.
