Everything Everything have shared a new single.
A gliding indie-pop moment from the forthcoming ‘Re-Animator’, the track premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record. Check out the video below.
“Violent Sun is about the feeling that something terrible is approaching fast, and you want to hold on to this moment forever,” frontman Jonathan Higgs said. “It’s the last song of the night, and the last song of your life. You only have these four minutes to make it happen, so make it happen!”
Along with announcing a new release date of September 11 for ‘Re-Animator’, EE also recently confirmed a UK and Ireland tour. It’s set to begin in Nottingham on March 19 before heading to Birmingham, Norwich, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, London, Brighton and Dublin. Tickets go on sale at 9am on July 31.
