Mariah Carey has announced a new album.
'The Rarities' is due out on October 2 and, as the title suggests, will feature rare cuts as well as live tracks from her '90s concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, and a previously unheard collaboration with Ms. Lauryn Hill called Save The Day. The latter is expected to arrive on August 21.
The record's release will come just two days after the arrival of the superstar vocalist's memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, on September 29. Her last studio album, meanwhile, was 2018's 'Caution'.
Introducing 'The Rarities' online, she said: "This one is for you, my fans. It's to celebrate us, and to thank you for years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you."
