Wargasm have shared a video for Backyard Bastards.
The track mashes programmed drum beats with distorted guitar riffs and marks the latest in a series of singles from the rising London punk duo, Milkie Way and ex-Dead! guitarist Sam Matlock. It follows the previously released Spit., Gold Gold Gold and a cover of N.E.R.D's hit single Lapdance.
The blood-spattered video, meanwhile, serves as the genre-defying twosome's response to the horrific state of 2020. They said:
"This is a heavy time for humanity, especially the younger generation. It would be wrong to pretend our minds don’t go to dark places from time to time - and sometimes the world needs a little necessary evil. It’s a playful vent, but aren’t you glad we just chose to vent this via a song?"
The pair will support Yungblud on his virtual Weird Time of Life Tour during November and December. They'll also join the Doncaster pop-punk star as well as Creeper for rescheduled shows in March.
