Released on last week (October 9) via Island Records, I See Your Ghost was produced by the Coral's James Skelly and will appear on the Wigan indie band's forthcoming 'Ghosts' EP, due out on October 30.
The ska-infused track is dominated by fast-paced guitars, a bouncing bass line and rapid flowing vocals, marking something of a change of style for the quartet. Frontman Alex Moore said:
"There’s something inside me, maybe like everyone, that ticks to the beats of reggae, ska, grime or hip-hop. A natural, human swing you hear in the music that, even without the tune, still exists. It’s how your heart ticks. ‘I See Your Ghost’ is that feeling for me."
The group have been working on their debut album at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool, and will embark on a UK tour and Ireland tour in 2021. They'll also support Blossoms and share a bill with Paul Weller as special guests on his tour.
