Yusuf Cat Stevens has unveiled a new video.
Wild World marks the fourth single from the legendary singer-songwriter's recent album, 'Tea For The Tillerman²', a re-recorded version of his classic 1970 album, 'Tea For The Tillerman', reimagined in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
The ravamp deviates far from the original acoustic cut with the layering of multiple instruments. It comes coupled with an exquisitely shot clip directed by Effie Pappa and features nods to Casablanca and Bugsy Malone.
"The film shows how much we need art to direct our thoughts sometimes toward inexpressible goals," Stevens said in a statement, "to relive early childlike innocence and keep our eyes of hope open beyond the clouds of war and material darknesses."
In September, Stevens shared a revamp of the folk staple Father And Son. He has also rescheduled his headline show at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand to August 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
