A star-studded bill has been announced for Tom Petty's 70th Birthday Bash.
The five-hour virtual festival gets underway at 4pm PT on October 23 (October 24 12am BST), three days after what would have been the late rock icon's 70th birthday. It'll be broadcast on Petty's website and Amazon Music's Twitch channel.
The event will include sets and appearances by Stevie Nicks, Beck, Adam Sandler, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Jackson Browne, Margo Price and Post Malone, among many others. Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, both of Petty's band the Heartbreakers, are also set to perform.
Earlier in October, the Tom Petty Estate released 'Wildflowers & All The Rest', a posthumous album made up of tracks that were recorded during the original sessions for Petty's second studio LP, 1994's 'Wildflowers'.
