Paris Jackson has shared details of her debut solo album.

The 22-year-old confirmed her first proper venture into the family business with the release of Let Down, a softly strummed acoustic guitar-led alternative folk track, a far cry from the stadium-filling pop anthems performed by her father, Michael Jackson.

It was written by Paris with production by Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull, and lands accompanied by a macabre video directed by Meredith Alloway and executive produced by Eli Roth. Jackson said:

"I’m excited, I’m nervous, but I feel confident that the people that are supposed to hear this record are going to hear it. It's going to reach them. And with regards to critics and stuff, I don’t really think they’re going to know how to critique it."

It'll feature on the singer-songwriter's forthcoming debut LP, 'Wilted', due out on November 13 via Republic Records, home to artists such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Lorde.
