Miley Cyrus has shared a remix of her recent single Midnight Sky.
Whereas the original featured a subtle sample of Stevie Nicks' hit Edge of Seventeen, the new version features newly recorded vocals by the Fleetwood Mac legend and much more of her track, and so is called Edge of Midnight. Introducing it online, Cyrus said:
"Stevie Nicks has always been my idol & an inspiration. It’s an honor to now call her my friend and collaborator. Edge Of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix) out everywhere!"
The singer is set to release her new album 'Plastic Hearts' on November 27. The follow-up to 2017's 'Younger Now' will feature 12 original songs that find the pop vocalist fully indulging her rock and roll influences.
Those who pre-order it will get three instant grat tracks: Midnight Sky, and her recent live covers of Blondie's Heart of Glass and The Cranberries' Zombie, though it's not clear if this new remix will now also feature.
