Poppy has announced a Christmas EP.
'A Very Poppy Christmas' will arrive on December 1 via Sumerian Records and feature four seasonal songs, including the newly shared I Won’t Be Home For Christmas, a slice of dark, emotive pop that reflects on separation and heartache ahead of a possible lockdown over the festive period. Press play below.
At the start of 2020, the genre-bending artist released her third album, 'I Disagree', followed by an extended version of the record in August.
Poppy's previously postponed UK gigs were rescheduled to December due to COVID-19 but have been put on hold again due to the ongoing pandemic. New UK and European dates are due to be announced, according to a recent tweet from Poppy.
She will, however, support Deftones in North America next year and return to the UK for a set at Download festival in the summer.
'A Very Poppy Christmas' tracklist:
1. I Like Presents
2. I Won’t Be Home For Christmas
3. Kiss in the Snow
4. Silver Bells
I wish I could. All shows have been postponed due to the pandemic. But I'll be announcing new dates - keep your tickets!
