You Me At Six Share Video For Title Track Of New Album 'SUCKAPUNCH', Announce Intimate Summer Shows

You Me At Six have shared the title track of their new album.
Similar to the record's previously shared cuts, SUCKAPUNCH finds the band in unfamiliar territory, this time incorporating industrial and dance elements that take priority over their rock roots while maintaining their arena-sized hooks. Check out its sci-fi themed video below. Vocalist Josh Franceschi said:
“Suckapunch is about reclaiming your own consciousness when you’ve lost it along the way. ‘Rise from the wreckage that you left behind’ is really something that we’ve collectively experienced as a band. It’s a universal statement for recovering from a difficult time when you’ve been left behind.”
The follow-up to 2018's 'VI' is slated for release on January 15, 2021 via Underdog Records/AWAL. The band will support it with a spring UK tour and European shows in 2021, tickets for which are on sale now.
Alongside the new song, You Me At Six have also announced a string of intimate UK album launch shows, including a socially distanced event at Pryzm in Kingston Upon Thames on January 14 followed by a return to the venue in July, and then stops in Oxford, Sheffield, Leeds, Preston, Edinburgh and Dundee. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday November 30.
