Hayley Williams has unveiled a stripped back reworking of Simmer.
The stark, delicately plucked reinterpretation will appear on the Paramore vocalist's forthcoming three-song EP titled 'Petals For Armor: Self-Serenades', due out on December 18 via Atlantic Records.
The original track featured on her debut solo album, 'Petals For Armor', released back in May. The other two songs on the EP are an unplugged rendition of Why We Ever — another cut from 'Petals For Armor' — and a previously unheard composition called Find Me Here.
The coronavirus pandemic caused Williams to postpone her UK, European and North American dates supporting her debut solo full-length. Rescheduled shows are still to be announced.
