Of Mice And Men Share New Single Anchor From 'Timeless' EP

Friday, 26 February 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Of Mice And Men have shared a new song, Anchor.

The track features on the California metalcore band's new 'Timeless' EP — out via SharpTone Records today (February 26) — and follows its previously unveiled title track and Obsolete

Arguably the most experimental cut of the three, Anchor shifts between aggressive riffs and more sullen bass and synth driven melody. Vocalist and bassist Aaron Pauley said:

"Anchor is the final song from the 'Timeless' EP. It deals with themes of uncertainty about the future, as well as the complicated feelings associated with them. This EP, in totality, deals with the idea of impermanence in an ever changing world, and how we all fit into the changing of times - beginning a narrative that the future releases will build off of."

Out now, the EP is also available on a 10" vinyl, which is limited to 1000 copies worldwide. Their last full-length, meanwhile, was 2019's 'Earthandsky'.
