McFly will headline Newark Festival 2021.
Following its cancellation in 2020 due to the coronavirus, the event will return for one day at Riverside Park, Nottinghamshire on August 21, with the pop-rock group topping the bill following appearances by Gabrielle, Vernon Kay, and Lemar. McFly said:
"We're stoked to be playing Newark Festival this summer, we’re desperate to get out and play to our fans! Whilst we’ve been trying to keep in contact with our fans online, nothing’s the same as being on stage! Bring it on – see you in August!"
Tickets purchased for the 2020 edition of the festival will be valid for this year, and the remaining tickets are on sale now.
In April, McFly announced a concert as part of The Eden Sessions series in September. Following that, they'll embark on their rescheduled Young Dumb Thrills Tour, which shares its name with their 2020 album. They're also due to play a handful of open air gigs during the summer.
Newark Festival Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
